T-slot mills for soft materials – UP3D i5 PRO

An angulated screw channel needs a seat the screw head can pull against, and that seat sits sideways under the channel wall. A ball or flat bur comes in from above and cannot reach it. A T-slot mill has a cutting head wider than its neck, so it goes down through the channel and cuts outwards, forming the undercut in one pass.

These are the DLC coated versions for soft materials. The coating is what keeps the edge clean in PMMA and composite, where an uncoated edge loads up with material and starts rubbing instead of cutting. Same three sizes as the metal range, same 6 mm shank.
