The coating decides how many units the tool manages before the edges start to fray, and that is where the cost per restoration sits — not in the purchase price. The roughing tools, 2.0 and 1.0 mm, do most of the work and are changed most often; the flat 1.2 mm handles sharp corners and implant restorations, and 0.6 mm is needed for fissures and anti-rotation features. Overall length 40 mm, made from German super-fine grain carbide.
