Glass ceramic is not cut, it is ground — and it is ground wet. These are diamond-coated grinders rather than carbide burs, so the material is removed by abrasion with the coolant carrying the heat and the swarf away. Run them wet, always: a dry pass glazes the grit in seconds and the tool is finished. The Ø 2.5 mm does the bulk, the Ø 1.0 mm shapes the occlusal and the Ø 0.6 mm brings out the fissures and the margin.
